Statement
My practise evolves around a human urge to understand and relate to the surrounding world. I examine how we as humans search for some sense of meaning and how we in different ways try to construct one for ourselves. In this trying or attempting lies an absurdity that I am interested in. Looking for meaning is not absurd, but at times the ways of doing this seem to be lacking sense. Searching, relating and understanding are the main thematic aspects of my work and I see the act of making an image as a search in itself. For me it is a way of relating to the world in an attempt to better understand my position within it.
